Homosexual man files human rights complaint against Peterborough Bishop and parishioners

The Catholic Register -An openly homosexual man has brought a human rights complaint against Peterborough Bishop Nicola De Angelis, and 12 parishioners at St. Michael’s parish in Cobourg, Ont. This comes after Jim Corcoran was asked to give up his position as an Altar server at Sunday masses. He is open about his homosexuality, and lives with another openly homosexual man, but claims to live a chaste life in line with church teachings.

Having visiting Mr. Corcoran’s blog, I am left wondering how a man goes from this;

After much deliberation and soul searching, I decided to continue attending mass at St. Michael’s… However, one has to move on, and so I shall.

To then likening his 12 fellow parishioners to the terrorists on 9/11.

I couldn’t help but draw a comparison to the “religious extremists” who, while hiding behind the the faith of good God fearing Muslims, used hatred, terror and intimidation to bring down the twin towers on September 11th.

Of course now Mr. Corcoran is now demanding 20,000 dollars from each parishioner, 25,000 from the bishop, and that all legal fees be covered. The line between religious freedom, and discrimination can be blurry sometimes. If Jim Corcoran truly was following the church’s teaching on the subject, then perhaps it was wrong to remove him.

But to bring this to the Human Rights Commission infuriates me. Once again Christians are being singled out for simply removing a man from a Sunday service. It can be seen from his blog that he was in no way barred from attending services. There was no hate speech directed against this man. Extremist Muslims are calling out for homosexuals to be killed and the Human Rights Commission does nothing. Christians remove a homosexual man from Altar service, as their faith dictates, and immediately the Human Rights Commission moves in to crush these Christians.

If the Human Rights Commission ever acquires any lions, then Christians will have good reason to worry.

    It was a quiet night in Munich. The people moving along the streets in the heart of the city were grim. They walked heads down, hands deep in the pockets of their frayed coats. All around, the spirit of defeat hung like a pall in the evening air; it was etched on the faces of the out-of-work soldiers on every street corner and in every café. Germany had been defeated in the war, but it had been crushed by the terms of the Versailles Treaty. Everywhere the people were still mired in depression and despair, several years after the humiliating surrender of Kaiser Wilhelm.
    In this atmosphere the purposeful stride of Captain Ernst Roehm seemed out of place. But Roehm was accustomed to being different. A homosexual with a taste for boys, Roehm was part of a growing subculture in Germany which fancied itself a superior form of German manhood. A large, heavy man, Roehm had been a professional soldier since 1906, and, after the war, had temporarily lent his talents to a socialist terror organization called the Iron Fist. On this night Roehm was on his way to meet some associates who had formed a much more powerful socialist organization.
    At the door of the Bratwurstgloeckl, a tavern frequented by homosexual roughnecks and bully-boys, Roehm turned in and joined the handful of sexual deviants and occultists who were celebrating the success of a new campaign of terror. Their organization, once known as the German Worker’s Party, was now called the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, The National Socialist German Worker’s Party — the Nazis.

    Yes, the Nazis met in a “gay” bar.

    It was no coincidence that homosexuals were among those who founded the Nazi Party. In fact, the party grew out of a number of groups in Germany which were centers of homosexual activity and activism. Many of the characteristic rituals, symbols, activities and philosophies we associate with Nazism came from these organizations or from contemporary homosexuals. The extended-arm “Sieg Heil” salute, for example, was a ritual of the Wandervoegel (“Wandering Birds” or “Rovers”), a male youth society which became the German equivalent of the Boy Scouts. The Wandervoegel was started in the late 1800s by a group of homosexual teenagers. Its first adult leader, Karl Fischer, called himself “der Fuehrer” (“the Leader”) (Koch:25f). Hans Blueher, a homosexual Nazi philosopher and important early member of the Wandervoegel, incited a sensation in 1912 with publication of The German Wandervoegel Movement as an Erotic Phenomenon, which told how the movement had become one in which young boys could be introduced into the homosexual lifestyle (Rector:39f). The Wandervoegel and other youth organizations were later merged into the Hitler Youth (which itself became known among the populace as the “Homo Youth” because of rampant homosexuality. – Rector:52).
    Many of the Nazi emblems, such as the swastika, the double lightning bolt “SS” symbol, and even the inverted triangle symbol used to identify classes of prisoners in the concentration camps, originated among homosexual occultists in Germany (some, such as the swastika, are actually quite ancient symbols which were merely revived by these homosexual groups).
    In 1907, Jorg Lanz Von Liebenfels, a former Cistercian monk whom the church excommunicated because of his homosexual activities (Sklar:19), flew the swastika flag above his castle in Austria (Goodrick-Clarke:109).
    After his expulsion from the church Lanz founded the Ordo Novi Templi (“Order of the New Temple”) which merged occultism with violent anti-Semitism. A 1958 study of Lanz, Der Mann der Hitler die Ideen gab (“The Man Who Gave Hitler His Ideas”), by Austrian psychologist Wilhelm Daim, called Lanz the true “father” of National Socialism.
    List, a close associate of Lanz, formed the Guido von List Society in Vienna in 1904. The Guido von List Society was accused of practicing a form of Hindu Tantrism which featured sexual perversion in its rituals. This form of sexual perversion was popularized in occult circles by a man named Aleister Crowley who, according to Hitler biographer J. Sydney Jones, enjoyed “playing with black magic and little boys” (J. S. Jones:123). List was “accused of being the Aleister Crowley of Vienna” (ibid.:123). Like Lanz, List was an occultist; he wrote several books on the magic principles of rune letters (from which he chose the “SS” symbol). In 1908, List “was unmasked as the leader of a blood brotherhood which went in for sexual perversion and substituted the swastika for the cross” (Sklar:23). The Nazis borrowed heavily from List’s occult theories and research. List also formed an elitist occult priesthood called the Armanen Order, to which Hitler himself may have belonged (Waite, 1977:91).
    The Nazi dream of an Aryan super-race was adopted from an occult group called the Thule Society, founded in 1917 by followers of Lanz and List. The occult doctrine of the Thule Society held that the survivors of an ancient and highly developed lost civilization could endow Thule initiates with esoteric powers and wisdom. The initiates would use these powers to create a new race of Aryan supermen who would eliminate all “inferior” races. Hitler dedicated his book, Mein Kampf, to Dietrich Eckart, one of the Thule Society inner circle and a former leading figure in the German Worker’s Party. (Schwarzwaller:67). The various occult groups mentioned above were outgrowths of the Theosophical Society, whose founder, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, is thought by some to have been a lesbian (Webb:94), and whose “bishop” was a notorious pederast named Charles Leadbeater.
    The SA Brownshirts or Stuermabteilung (“Storm Troopers”) were largely the creation of another homosexual, Gerhard Rossbach (Waite, 1969:209). Rossbach formed the Rossbachbund (“Rossbach Brotherhood”), a homosexual unit of the Freikorps (“Free Corps”). The Freikorps were independent inactive military reserve units which became home to the hundreds of thousands of unemployed World War I veterans in Germany. Rossbach also formed a youth organization under the Rossbachbund, calling it the Schilljugend (“Schill Youth”) (ibid.:210). Rossbach’s staff assistant, Lieutenant Edmund Heines, a pederast and murderer, was put in charge of the Schilljugend. The Rossbachbund later changed its name to Storm Troopers (in honor of Wotan, the ancient German god of storms. – Graber:33). Rossbach seduced Hitler’s mentor, Ernst Roehm, into homosexuality. It was under Roehm’s leadership that the Brownshirts became notorious for brutality.
    Famous events in Nazi history are also linked to homosexuality; events such as the burning of the German Reichstag in 1932, the 1938 pogrom called Kristallnacht, and the 1944 attempt on Hitler’s life. Even the enduring image of Nazi book-burning, familiar to us from newsreels of the 1930s, was directly related to the homosexuality of Nazi leaders. The first such incident occurred four days after Hitler’s Brownshirts broke into Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institute for Sexual Research in Berlin on May 6, 1933. On May 10 the Nazis burned thousands of books and files taken in that raid. The Institute had extensive records on the sexual perversions of numerous Nazi leaders, many of whom had been under treatment there prior to the beginning of the Nazi regime. Treatment at the Sex Research Institute was required by the German courts for persons convicted of sex crimes……

    The Church’s moral teaching includes the concept of scandal. Anyone living with someone with whom they’re not married would fall under the same measures, including being denied Holy Communion. Also, in the homosexual movement, “chaste” usually means that the person is committing sodomy with only one other. It does not refer to celibacy. This man likely has a twisted understanding of the Church’s teachings.

    If people can be required to spend one cent defending themselves from the government on this issue, we can say with certainty that there is no religious freedom in Canada. For the government to attempt to regulate who can serve the Mass would most certainly blur the lines between Church and State, which you think would upset more than just Catholics.

    Like Trudeau said, the state doesn’t have any right to be in the bedrooms of adults. And conversely, neither does it belong in the Church.

    There are things that need to be separate, Church, State and Sex.

    Canadian Civil society can find its’ own balance between being polite and being rude. When the cultural beliefs of the offended, who was part of the congregation ran afoul of the Bishop’s rule, not the Father (Monsignor), he should’ve let Church politics work it out. To go to the Commission and demand parity in an institution that predates it, a Commission whose interest lays only in an interest in furthering the right to not be offended, not an interest in being part of the Sacraments is absurd. Would I go to Town Hall and demand equity if the congregation of a Baptist Church did not accept me because I believe in Aliens, or complain to my MP for justice because the Church of Mormon kicked me out because I didn’t believe I’d get my own planet when I die?

    When you join a social club, which really is how churches operate, regardless of what salvation one might feel they get from it, each club has its’ own rules and cliques. If you can’t get along in your group of like-minded friends, get new ones. Better yet, take the final sacrament and become a priest and change the Church from within if it means that much to you.

    To go to an outside agency and use it against the structure of the very belief which brings you closer to God only makes one a hypocrite.

    I hope Mr. Corcoran read this and stops his pitiful abrogation of the Church’s meagre resources. How much of his satisfaction will come from the collection plate of all those he shared pews with?

    A Real Duke Rape Case

    We all remember the infamous Duke University rape frame-up case, in which three white lacrosse players were falsely accused of raping a black female stripper. It was front-page news coast to coast, as it had all the elements of a mainstream-media cause célèbre: the perfect victim and the perfect villains, a “downtrodden” black woman of modest means and three “privileged” white college boys. Thus did the hard-left alliance of media, academia, and a Democrat prosecutor try its best to lynch the three, and if the stripper’s story hadn’t changed with the wind, the students could very well be sitting in prison currently.

    But now we have a real Duke rape case, and one that largely conforms to the above narrative. Frank Lombard, Duke’s associate director of the Center for Health Policy, faces federal criminal charges for offering his adopted five-year-old son for sex. Where are the parallels? Lombard is white and well-to-do while his victim, the son, is black (Lombard also has a second adopted son, who is black as well).

    Yet there are also differences. One is that, unlike the tenuous lacrosse-player case, authorities have Lombard dead to rights. Writes the blog Self Evident Truths:

    The arrest warrant states that a person, later identified as Lombard, used video chat on the internet to perfom [sic] sex acts on a child under the age of ten…. The complaint says Lombard’s chat room ID lists him as “perv dad for fun.”

    The warrant states that an astute police detective contacted Lombard through Yahoo! Instant Messenger. Lombard admitted performing sexual acts on his adopted five year old son. He wrote that he would drug the boy with Benadryl before molesting him. He admitted that he waited to molest the boy until his partner was out of town.

    The warrant continues describing the next day, when Lombard offered his five year old to the detective to perform sex acts on him. The detective said he lived out of state, making the solicitation a federal offense.

    There are also other differences between the cases. One is that there is no reason to expect the media to do anything but bury this story posthaste. Why? Because, despite the aforementioned parallels, it doesn’t completely accord with today’s favored victimizer/victim narrative, as Lombard is a homosexual, making the victim a child who was adopted by a homosexual. Thus, while Lombard’s sexual inclination alone is enough to make the mainstream media treat this case with the “utmost discretion,” there is an additional factor: disseminate the facts of the crime enough, and people just may get the crazy notion that it’s lunacy to let homosexuals adopt children, especially little boys. So you’ve just got to watch the information you put in the yahoos’ heads.

    Not surprisingly, this double standard is already apparent in the reportage. In the Duke lacrosse case, not only was the story front page, but an accuser of the easiest virtue was painted in the best light. For example, the stripper was often called an “exotic dancer,” which is much like calling a prostitute an exotic blind date. In contrast, now the mainstream media seem most reluctant to reveal Lombard’s homosexuality or the adopted victim’s race.

    So, as far as how this story will most likely unfold, there are four things I cannot envision happening. First, I don’t foresee Duke’s administration and faculty coming out as a lynch mob and convicting Lombard in the court of public opinion. Second, don’t expect Jesse Jackson et al. to venture to Durham County and play the race card like a Vegas high roller, even though this case lends itself perfectly to it. A white man who adopts a black boy to keep as a sex slave, anyone?

    Next, at risk of being redundant, don’t hold your breath waiting for the mainstream stream media to get on board; like the National Organization for Women, with its deafening silence regarding the savaging of Sarah Palin and women’s plight in Moslem nations, they care not about little victims but leftist agendas.

    Lastly, the News & Observer tells us that Lombard is “a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work, [and] is a health-disparities researcher who studies HIV/AIDS in the rural South” (read: professional victimologist). So, not that any more evidence of his ideological persuasion was necessary, but it’s obvious that the man is thoroughly liberal in his professional life — and libertine in his personal life. Yet don’t expect the purveyors of pablum to be point this out, either.

    Speaking of the race card, the hierarchy of victim groups is much like a deck of cards: black is a good hand, but it’s trumped by female. And, it appears, homosexual trumps everything.

      The issue here is the OHRC”s infringement on an institution’s internal politics which has contributed to, and continues to support, our secular nation. This is an infringement of the State on our rights to choose within the law. You seem to be making a (poor) irrelevant argument about the activities of persons whose sexual proclivities and activities have nothing to do about this story…unless of course, you work for or on behalf of an HRC and are trying to bate some hate from hapless bloggers to shut down this new site, which aside from criticizing the Commissions, is a forum for free speech.

    I did partially agree with your writings on the Nazi party. Many pivotal figures were homosexuals in the early Nazi movement. But if memory serves, as soon as Hitler took complete power, he slapped a pink triangle on all of Germany’s gays, and shipped them off to death camps.

    And on the matter of Jim Corcoran being a pedophile, I don’t believe that there is any linkage between homosexuality and pedophilia. Statements like that detract from the real grievances that we are trying to air here. The simple fact that the HRC is trying to meddle in Church affairs, and this man is destroying the church he claimed to have loved, should be heinous enough to post about.

    I have to wonder how having a huge Nazi flag and related article on his blog, will effect him when the true scrutiny of his site beings.

    I’m afraid you’re missing the point. The Bishop of Peterborough is being bullied by a small group of parishioners over his decision to appoint Father Hood as Pastor of this parish. The complaint about who he could appoint or not appoint to serve on the altar was only one in a long list of complaints designed to undermine the authority of the Priest and ultimately of the Bishop. The group of parishioners tried to threaten the Bishop with a public scandal on this issue, knowing that a public scandal around this issue was most likely to get a reaction from the Bishop, which it did. Unfortunalely, instead of placating this group, they were emboldened and continued their campaign against Father Hood, causing further division in the parish and within the Catholic community, driving others away. If you really care about the survival of Catholicism in Canada, take the time to fully research the issues before you jump to a hasty conclusion. This is a good Bishop, a good priest, and a good acolyte who are being attacted. We need to stand up for all of them, just as Christ would have.

      Are you saying it is OK to use a state apparatus bereft of due process to force change in the Church?

      If such a precedent is set, what other changes will the Commissions seek in Churches, removal of religious icons and idols because it offends non-Catholics? You make think this absurd, but HRCs know no limits in their application of PC. If you let them into your world, use them for your purpose, they will invite themselves in to nanny the rest of your life.

      Regardless of the support garnered from anyone outside that particular parish, it still comes down to the politics within the parishioners of that Church. If anyone feels strongly enough to right the wrong, then they should join that parish, but not enforce their demands of liberal justice from afar.

Cornwall Inquiry is wrapping up and the issue of rampant homosexual pedophilia in Cornwall and elsewhere in Ontario was never addressed properly. Ontario justice system and Ontario correctional systems are as much to blame for decades of sexual abuse of boys as are now proverbial “kiddie diddling priests”. There is an urgent need to conduct PR campaign that would shift public attention and public scorn from “now historic crimes of isolated pedophiles” to “an army of religious zealots who find pedophiles hidden under every rock and in every cranny”.

    Homosexual propaganda pumped out thru MSM over the years was successful on two fronts; it managed to separate in public eyes homosexuality in general from
    homosexual pedophilia and it also managed to shift the blame for homosexual pedophilia mostly on Catholic Church.

    Before we can even start a discussion on “THE HOMOSEXUAL ROOTS OF THE NAZI PARTY” we have to look at the fact that homosexuals are not uniform group of people.
    Main division line in homosexual movement involves sex roles they assume and play in homosexual relationships.

    On one end of that spectrum we have supermasculine homosexuals who play male roles in homosexual relationships. They are the proverbial “super-man” pumping iron every day at the gym, men who do only “manly” things. They are always on top not only during homosexual sex when they sodomise their partners but also in everyday life where they go into combat with other men in order to win; money, fame, influence etc. They value only manly traits of character; being tough, being aggressive, being non-emotional etc.

    On the other end of that spectrum we have feminine homosexuals who play female roles in homosexual relationships. They concern themselves with arts, fashion, homemaking etc. They are always on the bottom not only during homosexual sex when they are getting sodomised their partners but also in everyday life when they suffer emotional and physical abuse at the hand of their partners and their friends. Feminine homosexuals on receiving end of sodomy also suffer blunt of AIDS/HIV infections due to auto-infection of abdominal cavity with fecal matter leaking out of digestive tract thru abrasions and perforations of wall of their rectums following sodomy.

    Great many supermasculine homosexuals despise feminine homosexuals (queers) almost as much as they despise women in general. Supermasculine homosexuals’ attitude towards feminine homosexuals is very similar to that of misogynist men towards women but their hate and contempt for queers is magnified by two additional factors; one is that sodomy involves penis of super masculine homosexual coming in direct contact of fecal matter produced by the queer partner and secondly the fact that most queers, when they develop AIDS as a result of being sodomised, become vectors for all kinds of common infections.     “The attack on the Sex Research Institute is often cited as an example of Nazi oppression of homosexuals. This is partly true, but as we shall see, the “oppression” fits into a larger context of internecine rivalry between two major homosexual groups. Magnus Hirschfeld, who headed the Institute, was a prominent Jewish homosexual. Hirschfeld also headed a “gay rights” organization called the Scientific-Humanitarian Committee (SHC), formed in 1897 to work for the repeal of Paragraph 175 of the German legal code, which criminalized homosexuality (Kennedy:230). The organization was also opposed to sadomasochism and pederasty, two of the favorite practices of the militaristic, Roehm-style homosexuals who figured so prominently in the early Nazi Party. Hirschfeld had formed the SHC to carry on the work of the pioneer “gay rights” activist, Karl Heinrich Ulrichs (1825-1895). Brand was a pederast, child pornographer and anti-Semite, and, along with many homosexuals who shared his philosophies, developed a burning hatred of Magnus Hirschfeld and the SHC. When Hirschfeld’s Sex Research Institute was destroyed, the SA troops were under the general command of Ernst Roehm, a member of Brand’s spinoff group, the Society for Human Rights….”

    The Divided Movement

    This was not the last time homosexual leadership of the Nazis would attack other ideologically dissimilar homosexuals. Later in this discussion we will examine the so-called “pink triangle” homosexuals who were interned in concentration camps. The pink triangle, part of a scheme of variously-colored triangles used by the Nazis to identify specific classes of prisoners, was applied to those convicted under Paragraph 175 of the German Penal Code. Homosexuals were one of these classes, but according to Johansson,

    [M]any of those convicted under Paragraph 175 were not homosexual: some were opponents of the regime such as Catholic priests or leaders of youth groups who were prosecuted on the basis of perjured testimony, while others were street hustlers from Berlin or Hamburg who had been caught up in a police dragnet (Johansson in Dynes:997).

    As many as 6,000 of the approximately 10,000 “pink triangles” died in the work camps, but few, if any, were gassed in the death camps. Some of those who died met their deaths at the hands of homosexual Kapos (“trustees”) and guards of the SS. At first glance it is difficult to understand why the homosexual leaders of the Nazis would persecute other homosexuals on the basis of their sexual behavior. We alluded, in the matter of the Sex Research Institute, to the fact that the homosexual movement in Germany was divided into two diametrically opposed camps which some have called the “Fems” and the “Butches.” These terms are common among homosexuals today, as is the disdain “Butches” feel for “Fems.”
    A researcher of the homosexual movement Gordon Westwood writes that masculine homosexuals “deplore [effeminate] behavior,” many considering effeminate homosexuals “repulsive” (Westwood:87). Another researcher, H. Kimball Jones, reports that reaction to “Fems” is often violent in the general homosexual community. “[They label them] ‘flaming faggot’ or ‘degenerate fag,’” with one homosexual exclaiming, “You know, I loathe these screaming fairies” (H.K.Jones:29). Jay and Young’s 1979 examination of the American homosexual movement, The Gay Report, contains numerous personal statements by masculine homosexuals critical of effeminacy. “Fem behavior can be vicious and destructive, demeaning to women and gay men,” says one. Another asserts, “To me someone who is ‘femme’ is a self-indulgent…petty, scheming, gossipy gay being whose self-image has been warped and shaped by unfortunate family situations” (Jay:294ff).
    The most hostile to “Femmes” are precisely those homosexuals who deem themselves the most “masculine.” In The Homosexual Matrix, C.A. Tripp writes that “[f]ar to the other extreme, there are a number of utterly masculine, sometimes supermasculine homosexuals….They are obses- sed with everything male and eschew anything weak or effeminate….Unquestionably they represent the epitome of what can happen when an eroticized maleness gains the full backing of a value system that supports it” (Tripp:92). Cory and LeRoy, in their detailed discussion of homosexual culture, describe the scene in a typical American “leather bar”:

    Here, sturdy swaggering males dressed in tight dungarees, leather jackets or heavy shoes, dark hued woolen shirts, and sometimes motorcycle helmets, aspire toward a super-masculine ideal…Behind the facade of robust exploits, the uniform of pretentious male prowess, the mask of toughness, there sometimes lies a dangerous personality that can express itself physically by substituting violence for erotic pleasure; capable of receiving sexual pleasure only by inflicting pain (or receiving it). The general atmosphere in such places is restless and brooding, and one can never be sure when the dynamite of violence will erupt (Cory and LeRoy:109).

    Reading this description, one can imagine oneself looking into Munich’s Bratwurstgloeckl tavern, where the Brownshirts congregated, and finding the same cast of characters — only wearing different costumes.
    This contrast of homosexual types is not simply a phenomenon of modern society. Greenberg writes about homosexuality among the Germans of the first centuries A.D.:

    As war became more important to the Germans, the male warriors and their culture became dominant, and the status of women declined. Effeminacy and receptive homosexuality were increasingly scorned and repressed….The effeminate homosexual…was depicted as a foul monster….this stigmatization did not extend to active male homosexuality. [Later, acceptability of masculine oriented homosexuality declined under Christianity, which] was officially opposed to all forms of homosexuality (Greenberg:249f).

    The authors do not wish to imply that all homosexuals fall into one or the other of these two simplistic stereotypes. The terms “Butch” and “Fem” in this study are used loosely to differentiate between two ideological extremes relating to the nature of homosexual identity. Generally in this work the German “Fems” are defined as homosexual men who acted like women. They were pacifists and accomodationists. Their goals were equality with heterosexuals and the “right to privacy,” and generally they opposed sex with young children. Their leaders were Karl Heinrich Ulrichs and Magnus Hirschfeld.
    The “Butches,” on the other hand, were masculine homosexuals. They were militarists and chauvinists in the Hellenic mold. Their goal was to revive the pederastic military cults of pre-Christian pagan cultures, specifically the Greek warrior cult. They were often vicious misogynists and sadists. Their leaders included Adolf Brand and Ernst Roehm. The “Butches” reviled all things feminine. Their ideal society was the Maennerbund, an all-male “comradeship-in-arms” comprised of rugged men and boys (Oosterhuis and Kennedy:255). In their view, heterosexuals might be tolerated for the purpose of continuing the species, but effeminate homosexuals were considered to be subhuman, and thus intolerable.
    Most of the estimated 1.2 to 2 million homosexuals in Germany at the time of the Third Reich undoubtedly fit somewhere between the two extremes of the movement. This may explain the fact that less than 2% of this population were prosecuted under anti-sodomy laws by the Nazis (Cory and LeRoy estimate that “Fems” make up 5-15% of male homosexuals. Cory and LeRoy:73). Most of those who were prosecuted can be shown to fit the profile of the “Fems.” Kurt Hiller, a ranking member of the SHC who later succeeded Hirschfeld, “estimated that 75 percent of the male homosexuals sympathized with the parties of the Right” (Johansson in Friedlander:233)….

    I’m afraid you’re missing the point. The Bishop of Peterborough is being bullied by a small group of parishioners over his decision to appoint Father Hood as Pastor of this parish. The complaint about who he could appoint or not appoint to serve on the altar was only one in a long list of complaints designed to undermine the authority of the Priest and ultimately of the Bishop. The group of parishioners tried to threaten the Bishop with a public scandal on this issue, knowing that a public scandal around this issue was most likely to get a reaction from the Bishop, which it did. Unfortunately, instead of placating this group, they were emboldened and continued their campaign against Father Hood, causing further division in the parish and within the Catholic community, driving others away. If you really care about the survival of Catholicism in Canada, take the time to fully research the issues before you jump to a hasty conclusion. This is a good Bishop, a good priest, and a good acolyte who are being attracted. We need to stand up for all of them, just as Christ would have.

    Mr. Jim Corcoran, as far as we know is the lay person and as far as we know he is not associated with any Catholic organisation of lay people in Canada. There are millions of Catholics in Canada, there are hundreds if not thousands of Catholic organisations concerned with various aspects of Catholic faith and Catholic life and as far as we know Mr. Jim Corcoran is not involved with any of them.

    Despite of his apparent lack of involvement in life of vibrant Catholic community in Canada (being a concerned Catholic does end with attending and serving at the Sunday mass) Mr. Jim Corcoran, tries to feed us with concerned Catholic shtick. Not only that, he is so full of himself that he suddenly becomes “concerned Catholic” who “represents” majority of parishioners of St. Michael’s parish in Cobourg Ontario, who in addition to being a “voice of silent majority” is fighting on their behalf against 12 rouges who are trying to destroy St. Michael’s parish. If that was not good to declare Mr. Jim Corcoran certifiable under Ontario Mental Health Act, he continues in same vein and he goes to insinuate that these 12 rouges who in his opinion are trying to destroy St. Michael’s parish are fighting not so much against him rubbing into their faces his openly homosexual lifestyle that goes against teaching of Catholic faith, but they are fighting against Catholic Church hierarchy; namely Father Hood and Bishop Nicola De Angelis, and if that is still not good to declare Mr. Jim Corcoran certifiable under Ontario Mental Health Act, he also claims that future of Catholicism in Canada hangs in the balance of his confrontation with the “forces of ultimate Evil”.

    I am not qualified as psychiatrist but in my personal opinion Mr. Jim Corcoran, with his delusions of grandeur shows classical symptoms of mania that might be very indicative of him suffering from a bi-polar disorder. I do not know about others people posting on this blog but in my personal opinion Mr. Jim Corcoran might qualify for some serious psychiatric intervention and for radical curbing of his delusions of grandeur by well tested and very effective Zyprexa treatment.

    If bunch of sexual deviants working at CAMH can declare Mr. James Anthony Cavalier delusional nutcase and keep him at CAMH and feed him with Zyprexa indefinitely because of his preoccupation with promotion of homosexual pedophilia by people like Mr. Gerald Hannon, publisher and editor of XTRA magazine, than by the same token they could lock up Mr. Jim Corcoran and declare him delusional nutcase and keep him at CAMH and feed him with Zyprexa indefinitely because of his preoccupation with the future of Catholic Church in Canada

    If making couple of angry phone calls to publishers of Xtra magazine over an ad featuring picture of approximately 11 years old girl advertising sado-masochistic sex services was enough to seal Mr. James Anthony Cavalier’s fate than Mr. Jim Corcoran’s filing of OHRC complaint(s) against 13 people so far, should be enough to seal his fate as well. Considering the overall cost of OHRC complaint process, brief incarceration of Mr. Jim Corcoran at the psychiatric hospital, and couple of months of psychiatric treatment with Zyprexa and other psychotropic drugs might in the end turn out to be the most cost effective solution to Mr. Jim Corcoran’s mental health issues and his fixation with the future of Catholic Faith in Canada.
